Old World Santa My Old World Santa's face and hands were sculpted with a polymer clay. Mohair was used for the hair and beard. Along with realistic hair on Santa's hands, each of Santa's eye lashes are glued on individually, which makes my dolls truly lifelike. I constructed Santa's body with a wire armature and PVC pipe covered with poly batting. You can stand Santa with the help of his stand, or have him seated. I designed and hand made Santa and his coat, which is faux suede with a satin lining. I use vintage fur, fabrics, and accessories wherever possible.

Some people look at my life size Santa and wonder if they would have enough room. Standing 5'4" he is an imposing figure, but not dominating. The Old World Santa is supplied with a lightweight stand so he will stand anywhere, or he can sit in any chair in the house. Remove his Christmas costume after the holidays and have fun just sitting him around the house. My wish is that my Old World Santa will bring joy to your holiday and become a special family heirloom. |

This Old World Santa was designed and created in 2003. He was purchased by a respected private collector to be enjoyed for the Christmas season.
